merrily javier hummed as he crossed the busy streets, beethoven's sixth symphony dancing off his tongue and from his slightly parted lips with surprising accuracy in pitch. he weaved around and in between the rushing businessmen, the bratty children, the tired housewife, and the chronic smokers. gleefully javier reached a hand to discreetly and skillfully swipe a wallet from a man's back pocket; instead of taking the money however, javier chose to spill the money, the credit cards, and coupons onto the open street from the black leather. having not walked ten feet from the new mess javier heard the noise of a scrambling crowd of people scrambling for the money. the man the wallet was taken from, an alcoholic, teenagers, children who like shiny things. "humans are all the same" javier mumbled under his breath, listening to the sound of chaos behind him as if it were the most beautiful piece in the world.
he wanted to cause more trouble. oh no, he was far from being done - far from having his fair share of delicious chaos. people with broken arms, bloody noses and crushed relationships was not enough. he wanted serious injuries - near death, millimeters from the arms of the reaper - death itself is also acceptable. javier laughed morbidly, both arms cradling the back of his neck as he walked leisurely through the busy roads. the sound of his feet on the concrete was muffled by loud chatter and the sound of disorganization. javier breathed in the stuffy air, swiftly stealing a baseball bat from a child nearby. he weighed the bat in his hands, an undoubtedly satisfied grin on his features. the bat was a classic light brown, heavy, but with a good swing it would knock a man's head clean off - like an exploding watermelon, but with more blood… or perhaps the ribcage, for some collateral damage? javier licked his lips. he could almost taste the pain, the blood, the fun it would bring. oh so amusing.
then, javier stopped. he had a feeling that someone was watching him with piercing eyes. he could smell them in the air. it was faint - but somehow familiar, as if he had seen the person before. chuckling lightly javier withdrew his baseball bat, "only one way to find out then," he mumbled under his breath. almost playfully javier threw the bat into the crowd of people. if that man is here then…
"come on, it ain't fun if i have to play alone~"

there he stood, among the chaos. that damned zero never gave him a break. each encounter the zorua gijinka would manage to somehow or another get away after playing his 'games' and avoiding getting strangled by the always furious upon encounter absol. it didn't matter to him what he'd done or hadn't even attempted, that smug grin was even enough to set him off. and when javier undoubtedly sensed him, even playfully causing a bit more pain as he clearly taunted him, that was it for abel. he couldn't take it anymore.
with a beast like snarl and wild red eyes, abel said not one word as he dashed towards him, not even giving him a chance to explain himself as he slashed at him with the extremely sharp sickle, determined to see him fall today. how could someone find entertainment out of hurting innocent people like this? it made no sense to him and he decided to not even bother trying to understand this guy's way of thinking. if he didn't know any better, he would have said he did it simply to lure him out here. the mere thought only fueled his raging anger. "i'm gonna kill you!" he threatened ferociously as he continued slicing away at him, trying to wipe that smile off his face. a chase was inevitable. he knew that very well. but that didn't stop him from trying to stop him before he could even attempt it.
[ooc: run, javier, run! xD]

well, abel was mad again. why was javier not surprised? in fact, javier didn't even feel an ounce of fear as the sickle was swung at him. he simple threw himself back, propelling himself a distance backwards with a strong jump. it always happens this way - javier would mess some people up and abel would always be there and best of all, abel would always be there mad like a raging bull. javier laughed heartily, ignoring the gasps and shouts from others as he started running backwards. despite the strange position, javier's legs worked fast - and he kept his eyes on that dangerous sickle. "haha~ i missed you too," he spoke as if he were referring to an old friend. he had that irritating smile on his features and his hands in his pockets as he continued to move, ducking and dodging through the area.
"so much hostility! let's catch up for a bit first!" javier teased, spinning himself around to vault over a fence. he was going through as many obstacles as he could, climbing over benches and running straight into areas with more civilians. "oh no, watch the children abel! don't play too rough!" javier snarked, pulling a child away from his mother. deviously and without second consideration javier stood the now crying child right in abel's path as another roadblock. he continued running then, weaving through streets and alleyways and climbing over the canopies of stores. adrenaline pumping, he climbed a pipe leading straight to the rooftops of a building - receiving gasps and exclamations of shock from civilians as he continued his game of cat and mouse on the rooftops. the wind was in his face, and javier found no better feeling. he was having the time of his life - quite possibly the best time of his life.
with an excited laugh javier leaped from one building to another. packed as the streets were, the buildings were also built relatively close together, separated by narrow alleyways with dead ends, dumpsters, and the occasional stray cat. he was almost skipping, even with abel hot on his tail. "hurry up~ or i might just get away!" he taunted. he tried not to slow down, but the temptation was beginning to wear at his patience. perhaps he should slow down a bit later on? javier entertained the thought - but for now, he kept running.

"shut up!" he roared, not in the mood to play along with his old buddy act. he was just a sore in his side, a constant nagging pain that he was ready to get rid of once and for all. then again, he thought that every time they got into this situation. the fact he had yet to accomplish this didn't bother him though, much too focused on the annoyance ahead making a joke out of him.
the gijinka managed to keep up with him somewhat, vaulting over the fence, albeit not as graceful, dodging crowds and jumping over obstacles as he tried to catch him. he barely managed to dodge the crying child however, losing his footing for a moment but managing to catch himself before he could get slowed down too effectively and continued after him. as long as he didn't loose sight of him, there was still hope he could catch him before he could even escape this time. "get back here you coward so i can kick that irritating face of yours in!" he threatened as he climbed up onto the rooftops after him. he wasn't going to let him get away. not this time!
abel never let himself loose his trail, finding the chase much easier without people to accidentally run into and less obstacles to dodge. unfortunately for him, the zorua seemed to be much faster. he hated the thought and managed to push himself a little further. he'd go as far as he had to to get this guy, even till his legs gave out. and with how much anger he gained from this guy's mere presence, he might actually have enough power to last him quite a while. just as long as the damned gijinka didn't pull any of his usual tricks to escape.

oh again with the petty insults, javier shook his head as he ran. "you couldn't kick in the face of a stuffed doll~!" he sang, arms shooting out his sides to run with the wind on his limbs. "kick back, relax, lets talk a bit, abel!" javier grinned, resisting the urge to do a little dance. he was always in a chipper mood when he had a murderous abel behind him. it was just so much adrenaline, he could jump off a building and laugh his head off - he'd wager abel would find that pretty amusing too. javier silently pondered to himself, throwing the occasional teasing noise and taunt.
as he ran from building to building, leaping from ledge to ledge javier spotted a pipe to escape from the rooftops to a crowd beneath in the streets. he quickened his pace, and before anyone could see it javier had transformed into a small child midway with his illusions, making it seem as though he were around nine years old simply mingling with the crowd. despite having transformed, he retained some of his original looks - fiery red hair and amber eyes. javier smiled, it was just the way he wanted it to be. with a childish voice and a whimper in his tone he pointed towards the buildings, "help! there's a scary man up there with a weapon!" he exclaimed, smirking as all eyes in the crowd turned to face in abel's direction. there was a clamor, a chaos of civilians shouting and accusing others of violence. some were discussing madly about 'teenagers these days', and others would try to restrain abel should he come towards javier. the crowd tightened itself into a messy circle, and javier, with his newfound small stature, took advantage of the situation to quietly slip away - but not before shooting the most snide of looks in abel's direction. without noise he mouthed, "good luck getting out of this one, whitey." he had taken advantage of the situation to discard the illusion he had cast, and turned to run again, this time turning into a busy eat street.
all the running was giving javier quite the appetite, and with abel distracted momentarily he took advantage of the situation to snag an untouched cup of cappuccino from a businessman's table, ignoring the shouts of the man as he continued moving swiftly. he had slowed down somewhat, waiting for the sound of abel tearing down the street whilst sipping his coffee. he began to walk backwards again, coffee half finished.
"say," he wondered aloud, "if wonder if we can sit down and converse~!" javier smirked, "or is that certain someone i know too stupid to speak a proper sentence?" he added, adding more insults to his taunts. any normal person would've considered it a death wish - but javier? javier thought it was quite a bit of fun.

he continued to chase after him watching as he left the open rooftops to hide out below in the crowd. unrelenting eyes kept focused, watching as the illusionist turned into the form of a child. he would still be difficult to miss though, even if he had lost sight of him. he could recognize those annoying features from anywhere. but just as he was about to leap down after him, he heard his pathetic act as an innocent child, turning the blame on him and ultimately making him out to be the bad guy. he scoffed at the thought before finally making his way down, not letting a second pass as he bounded after him again only to be stopped midway by a group of humans. apparently they hadn't shared his opinion in javier's acting skills and believed him. and by the looks on their faces and the discussions going on in the crowd, it didn't look like they planned to let him get through to the 'innocent child'. "dammit! no, you don't understand. it's not what you think!" he tried to explain, only receiving arguments, scoldings, and even threats from the oblivious crowd. he took a step back cautiously. sure he could take them on if he wanted but he didn't want to hurt innocents. he wasn't going to resort to such measures just to get this guy. but just as he tried to figure out what to next, abel caught the snide look from the other gijinka, his eyes narrowing as his teeth clenched in a scowl. well. so much for the slightly rational abel. the wrath was back and much worse than before.
this would haunt him later, and he certainly didn't need more people hating him, thinking he was nothing but trouble for them. but he wasn't going to let him win this one. his pride wouldn't let him. with that in mind he shoved the human's holding him back aside, taking advantage of their surprise and quickly making a run for it, passing the crowd and wincing slightly as he heard them yelling and cursing at him from behind.
it didn't take much to track the zorua down again. as long as javier was causing trouble, he'd sense it. and following the shouting made it easier as well. when he finally caught sight of him, he used all the strength he could muster to make a powerful jump forward, slashing downwards at him once more before landing down in front of him, throwing a sucker punch at his gut. "when i get my hands on you i swear you'll regret ever being born!" he growled. he hated how just looking at this guy's face he could tell he was enjoying this. he hated how this guy knew how to push his buttons and send him over the edge like this. hell, he hated the guy period!

whoa now! javier pulled his head back just in time for the sickle to miss him by a bare few millimeters, the blade cutting through a few strands of his fiery red hair. he took the sucker punch to the gut painfully, teeth grit to prevent noise escaping from between his lips. "ow ow ow," he managed a weak smile, still able to joke about the situation. "that kinda hurt, you know. play nice." javier recovered quickly, mere moments later. taking advantage of abel's rage javier threw a feint at the man's face, swiping his arm swiftly across abel's face and performing an even quicker knee-up to try to catch him in the gut.
javier took the chance to do a quick jump backwards, once again moving backwards to continue running down the street after the confrontation. "two can play at this, abe~!" javier laughed, giving abel a cutesy pet name to anger the latter to a greater extent. he was jogging now, barely trying to run as he waited for another confrontation. a crowd was beginning to gather around them - innocent bystanders ripe for the hurting.
there was a clamor, people pointing, and a ring of bystanders formed. javier grinned at this. it was all going to be so fun! he shouted across the field, "abel! calm yourself! don't hurt the civilians anymore!" the red haired male spoke with great acting, faking his own goodwill. "stand back, stay back! he's out to get you all~!" javier smiled. it was obvious he was having good fun with the situation. with a single hand he gestured to abel - a taunt, a single hand gesturing for the other to come forth and fight.

"tch..." was the only response he was given, irritated that he had been able to recover so quickly. his eyes were on fire now with pure rage. but it seemed javier knew him all too well and took advantage of the moment. much to his growing demise.
abel barely managed to dodge the swipe to the face, focused on that sole movement enough that he didn't even see the knee to the gutt coming. his eyes widened a bit in pain as the air was knocked out of him for a moment, gasping for what he could manage before taking a step back, glaring at the fleeing zorua as he spoke. "dammit..." he snarled. he knew he was going to have to focus. if he kept on letting his fury control him he was going to receive more than deal the damage it seemed. it was hard for him to get control of himself really. especially with his trainer nowhere around. and the little pet name he received from javier didn't help much either.
gathering what little composure he had and continuously fueled with anger by the zero's presence, he didn't hesitate to jump back into the chase after him only to quickly realize civilians were starting to gather. it seemed their chase had become noteworthy to the bystanders. 'great... just great...' he thought with a frown. it was going to make things a lot more difficult. and he could swear the mischievous zorua was already coming up with a plan for all these 'toys' standing around for his use. he wouldn't put it past the other to use them for his own benefit during the fight. he was going to have to be a little more careful. that however was easier said than done. you could say he was just a bull in a china shop.
as javier continued his seemingly never ending act, abel simply glared, deciding to not waste his breath. unlike the zorua, he wasn't as good with words. he certainly wasn't capable of convincing anyone that he was actually the good guy here. even if he tried, he was sure he could twist his words and manipulate everyone into even joining him against the absol.
it wasn't long before the gijinka gave a taunting gesture, further drowning the 'bull' in his fit of rage. he needed no second invitation. without a second to spare, abel was quick to close the space between them, the sickle slashing rapidly and dangerously at anything in his reach. "why wont you just die?!" he snarled. oh yes. his words and attitude certainly weren't helping him win the crowd in this one. he actually wouldn't be surprised if he was mistaken for a rocket. it wouldn't be the first time.
