YOU'LL HUM ALONG
[/style]
Athene was growing exhausted. The gray dye on her hands was rubbing away with the constant skin contact with the shovel, her brown skin becoming visible beneath the gray paint. She had nothing to hide. Gray wasn't her natural skin tone. She was only human. She only wore it to feel like her poor, little gray gijinka didn't feel so alone in the world with his funny looking skin and nubby little horns.
The shovel was soon dropped, pressing a foot down on the metal spade to dig it into the dirt beside the hole she'd just dug. Two holes, in fact, with a big pile of dirt between them that she'd later use to refill them. They looked like they could be graves, but Athene hadn't brought any tombstones or crosses to mark them with. What she did have were two big black garbage bags and they were definitely filled with something. Luckily, they weren't human shaped, so dead bodies were out of the question. Unless she chopped them up first or pushed them through the meat grinder. But she'd swear they weren't human- nor gijinka! Not today.
The trainer was whispering a tune to herself, one that sounded chipper and fast paced. Athene hadn't even bothered removing the contents in the bag. No one needed to know what she was disposing of. Instead, with a swift kick of her boot, each bag went into their respective graves. No noise was emitted, so they couldn't have been anything alive either. What on earth was in those trash bags? The world would never know, because Athene already had the spade back in her grubby paws and began shoveling the dirt mound back into place.
