With his head bowed down, eyes focused solely on the pavement continually scuffed by his own ratty Chuck Taylors, Minkyung was in an aimless search of, well ...nothing in particular. He felt hungry, but not enough to sit down at some cafe or restaurant to order himself a meal. He was tired, but not enough so he could go home and snooze on the couch. He was, truly, at a bit of a loss, but quite at home in his own little world. School had just let out, leaving the teen equipped with a backpack hanging low off his shoulders, a pen tucked neatly behind an ear--Such was hidden, of course, by the overly large hood of his black sweatshirt, which hid the cream and chocolate strands of hair that so obviously made him stand out. He was one of those special types, you know, one of those Pokemon. But Minkyung prefered who he was now: A simple high school student, looking to live a normal life, work at his normal after-school job.
Ughh, he didn't even work today. He was just so ...so bored!
"Stupid," he muttered beneath his breath, to no one of course, though managed to get an odd stare or two as the crowded walkway barely diverted enough for the scrawny teen to squeeze through. Pouting to himself, Minkyung glanced upward from the material hanging in his face, his lips pursing a moment as he blew at the ample amount of bangs hanging in his eyes. Horrid things, he thought to himself. He'd need a trim, soon, if he wasn't to go blind from the awkward focus his eyes would be getting used to. And while his mind went off on some tangent about hair cuts and styles, it was his stomach who spoke up the loudest, derailing his train of thought altogether until the ultimate decision was this: Minnie needed to find food, and quickly.
But lost in the town square, would it really be such a hard task to accomplish? Food trucks were everywhere, stationed in the most problematic of places - for rushed pedestrians, anyways - but for the hungry type? Subliminal messaging at its finest!
Shuffling off towards one of the trucks, all colourful and smelling of heaven, Minkyung waited behind another few locals, debating on just what he'd have to order before his stomach growled angrily again.
