It wasn't his intent to harm anyone though. He was merely enjoying some literature that he had planned to have his class write a paper on in a week or two. Of course if they had happened to catch someone's attention, an attractive person no less, so be it. He gave a small mischievous smirk at the thought as his eyes scanned through the words of the page, an amused chuckle managing to slip through as he read on about the protagonist's latest feat.
It was a story about Robin Hood, a man with whom he could relate to quite a bit. Of course he himself wasn't much of a charitable man when it came to his catch during his secret life of being a thief. But that was merely because he didn't know of people to give it to. Okay... That was a lie. He could probably come up with plenty but his own needs came first. Being a substitute teacher didn't pay much. Then again, it wasn't intended to. It was merely a cover up to keep the law's eyes off of him when he made a big break in his other lifestyle. He might decide to play the good guy role once. It seemed like an entertaining idea. Might as well come off as a hero once in this game of his. Of course he supposed that would have to wait till next time. He didn't have any targets on his agenda for today, simply enjoying a day of peace for a bit. And perhaps some 'fun' should he manage to pick up someone before the night was through. He could very well make an attempt but he decided to test his natural ability first. A normal for the ever so confident snivy.
It wasn't long before the gijinka set the book down and stretched out his limbs, his leaf like tail following suit as he released a bored yawn. Being a good boy was too boring. He needed some excitement from time to time. It was perhaps the only reason he bothered to continue such a risky lifestyle in the shadows. A lifestyle his old partner no doubt still didn't appreciate but he very well couldn't help himself. Secretly part of him hoped she'd track him down and complain about him getting injured or causing too much trouble for the duo, begging for him to stop so she didn't lose him. He smiled sadly at the thought before rolling his eyes. "Sometimes, ol' boy, you can be pretty pathetic." he told himself with a short spout of laughter. Unfortunately this was interrupted in a rather irritating way as he accidentally knocked his book into the fountain.
The comical plop as the book hit the surface received an eye narrowing from the blank as he knew very well what just happened, "Merdaaaa..." he hissed before reaching in and fishing it out before it could get too damaged. If that was even possible. "See this is why you need to stop thinking about stupid things. You do stupid stuff." he scolded himself as he fanned out the book, trying to get it as dry as he could. Well this was embarrassing. Though at the same time, he supposed it could work in his favor should some sap notice and try to help him or something. Just gotta look at the bright sides, eh?

There indeed was someone near, though not currently taking notice of the young man. Mizumi had sought out the fountain today as a means of relaxation. He felt perhaps being around the usually thinned of people area and near such beautiful water would easy his tension, his stress. There also was the fact he just loved this area! It was far too beautiful not to steal a few hours to, every now and than. He had even dressed faintly nice for the day, in a simple yellow sundress that fell a good bit above the knees and hugged the shoulders. It was a pleasant, polite dress. Nothing too showy, too gawdy. For once his left his hair down, tucking some stray strands behind his ear while drawing closer to the fountain. He was transfixed by the crystal water, the beautiful sight - so much, he barely noticed the sound of the book hitting the water until droplets hit himself. Letting out a startled sound, Mizumi took a step back from the fountain, his eyes rather wide for the moment, before looking towards the culprit. Now, Miz finally noticed the man and it only took a second to realize what happened. After that second, a smile with a short laughter followed. " .. oh no!". Keeping his eyes on the man, the gender crossed male took a tentative step towards the other, leaning down only so slightly to gaze at the sitting other. " .. Better the book than yourself~?". notes: dress based from and sorry so short!

sure enough, his self proclaimed cunning plan was a success though not quite in the way he had expected. his brows lifted in surprise at the startled sound, looking over to the bright figure nearby who had gotten splashed in the accident. oh no. who did he interrupt this time? well, well, well! quite the beautiful young woman it seemed. he couldn't help but look over her with skill that made it seem completely unnoticeable. oh yeah. his type. he smirked inwardly at the thought before listening to the stranger's exclamation. looks like his fun would start early it seemed. or at least he could get a fun game of flirt out of it. that would honestly be pretty rewarding itself. cue the casanova!
"i suppose so." he agreed with a chuckle. "though it would have been much better if i could have avoided splashing you in the process and get that lovely dress of yours dirty." he continued, taking off the rather unnecessary reading glasses as he stood to properly greet the victim of that little splash. "i'm so sorry! i hope you didn't get too soaked from that." he began in an apologetic tone. "not quite the best way to make a good impression on a beautiful face like yours but i'll take it." he commented with a charming smile, brushing his green bangs out of his face so he could get a better look at his new company. that is if they decided to stay anyway. he hoped that he'd be lucky. actually to be honest he was pretty confident. he'd yet to run into anyone who'd given him trouble when it came to using his charm.
"i'm sorry - how rude of me." he began, putting a hand over his chest as he acted as if he was shocked he had even forgotten. "my name is silas - silas diceto." he spoke, that bit of italian in his accent becoming clear as daylight. "and you are, my dear?" he asked, extending a hand out to the feminine male. even though he wasn't aware of that fact just yet. regardless, he was rather pleased with this situation so far, his leafy tail wagging slightly in response.

The dress was barely harmed, though he found the man's worry almost sweet. Look to him, the boy gave a gentle shake of his head, trying to reassure the man he was perfectly fine! As the other continued to flatter him, a rather shy flush appeared, followed by a small, almost giggle, from the trainer. "You are far too kind! Really, though, I am alright. A bit of water has never hurt anyone.". Besides, it was only a bit around the hem. Nothing to soak and make the clothing thin enough to expose the garments underneath. Now that would have been embarrassing. Taking the other male's hand, Mizumi have a firm shake and returned the man's offer of a name with his own. " "Mizumi Halna, sir. That is quite a lovely name you have! You seem to wear it well.". He attempted, weakly, to flatter the man back, but in all honestly he wasn't sure if it was working or not. Mizumi was never the best at compliments. He was better at a few drinks and subtle flirts towards his own desires. Without a bit of drink in him, the cross-dressed male held a more shyer approach at people.

of course this one seemed to be a bit different. typically the shy one's didn't outright approach him. he usually had to be the one to try and slip into their company. so he was quite curious how this one would turn out. so far though, it seemed he was having no problem getting this lovely person charmed quick. it wasn't the challenge he had been long searching for so far but it was entertaining nonetheless and she was pretty worth it with her looks. of course after getting a better look at her, he noticed something seemed to be off about this female. he just couldn't quite pinpoint it and didn't want to be rude by asking.
"too kind? please. it should be common courtesy to treat someone like this!" he pointed out matter-of-factly. "though it's pretty easy to behave such a way towards you. you just have a sort of attractive charm about you." he admitted with a sly smile. perhaps a phrase that would come off as shallow he could turn into a praise worthy comment with his tone and expertise with words. though he wasn't too far from the truth. he was sure anyone would go out of their way to treat this person with utmost respect by looks and personality alone. mizumi was by far the perfect package in his eyes. at least currently anyway. he kept that last bit to himself though.
once he had gotten the name, he nodded, chuckling at mizumi's own attempt at flattery. he'd heard it before and frankly if he hadn't said it himself, it probably would have been mispronounced. but he decided to humor him regardless. "is that right?" he smirked. "thank you but it certainly can't compete to your own." he paused, releasing a sigh. "mizumi..." he repeated cooly, memorizing it and listing it with the many other names he had gathered over the years. "a beautiful name for a beautiful lady." he continued, unaware that his guess on his gender was actually off. a beautiful man would be the correct term he was looking for. it was an honest mistake though. the feminine male could easily pass off as one of the girls which was surely his intent considering his general appearance.

He simply was too much. Slowly shaking his head while looking at the man, that amused smile refused to leave. How was he even real! Such a charming, playful fellow. Mizumi was silent for the moment, listening to the other and polietely nodding to his words. Such gentleman like habits were rare, but nice. Though, only doing it for those with pretty faces was not very sweet! Still, there was a compliment in there. "I rarely hear such things, so thank you very much". He did not mind being called a woman. After all, that is the image he wished to show others. Now, Mizumi was often honest when seeking a more bare moment with others, but when it was light and innocent like this, being mistaken was a woman was almost pleasant. Looking to the book, curiously, Mizumi spoke up. " .. I hear it's quite easy these days to dry books! It takes quite a bit of patience, but I hope you can save it." He spoke rather softly, though continued to stay close to the other. "Despite your accident, I admire your choice of an afternoon. A book near the beautiful fountain! that sounds lovely".

"that's a shame. you should really hear it more often. especially if it causes you to give that amazing smile of yours." he smirked. and that wasn't even just to charm her. he really did find her smile breathtaking. if he were the kind to settle down, that would probably win him over alone. okay maybe that was over exaggerating but still! it was an eye-catcher nonetheless. "i wonder how much traffic you cause when people just stop and stare at that smile." he continued to shamelessly flirt. hey, mizumi didn't seem to be complaining so why back down already? he chuckled at the thought.
at the mention of his book, he looked back down it where it lied on the fountain's edge, in a much safer position than before with the pages opened to hopefully air out a bit. "i'm sure i can." he agreed with a nod. mizumi had a point. it might be savable. "if not it shouldn't be too hard to replace. from what i'd seen, the school has a few extra copies just lying around." he unintentionally mused out loud to himself. when he had sent a student to go fetch them from the library for him, he had returned with a couple other copies as well, unsure which one he wanted, despite the fact that they were literally the same in both appearance and substance. he shook that thought out of his head though. kids really needed to use their heads more. but he supposed that is what he was there for.
"well it was either the fountain or the garden. i've always found it enjoyable to read in a pleasant atmosphere." he admitted. it made prepping for a lesson or project for his class easier as well. perhaps that was just the grass type in him. nature seemed to make him feel more at ease and be able to think clearly. so of course he rather abused the chance to find a nice quiet spot outside to read for either work or merely entertainment. "speaking of this afternoon, what brings you out here? if you don't mind me asking anyway." he smiled innocently, honestly curious. though he wouldn't blame him if he decided not to tell. considering they literally just met moments ago. but it was worth a shot. besides, it might be a chance to get to know this person better and perhaps hang out a bit. and whatever happened afterwards happened. he smirked slightly at the thought.

"H..hardly!", He gasped the word as the man continued to flatter him, shyly holding a hand partly over his face. Too much! Still, after a few moments and a soft sigh, Mizumi started to relax. It was clear he wasn't really use to such flattery and kind words. His edge melted in a moment, a more excited tone being heard now. "I love the gardens! it's so beautiful there. Warm.. it always feels like spring there~". Spring, his favourite season. So many colours, smells, it was amazing. When the question was once more on himself, Mizumi was an open book. He didn't mind questions. "I had a day off, and felt it was time to take some time to relax! I have been quite tense.. I thought visiting here would help me shake off some of the stress.". While saying all of this, he softly excused himself to moved closer to the fountain. Smoothing the back of his skirt quite carefully so it did not ride up, Mizumi sat on the edge of the fountain and stared at the water, a weak smile. "I don't know..this place is just very calm.".

"you are just too cute." he commented in a breath, almost too quiet to actually hear. again, he was trying not to seem too pushy about all this. but that didn't mean he couldn't speak truthfully. while he personally found confidence and a challenge sexy, innocence and shy was a rather cute type.
ah yes. mizumi definitely seemed like the type to enjoy the spring. so obviously the gardens would be the favorite spot for the feminine male. he had to admit he shared the feelings as well. he blamed the grass type pokemon that dwelt within him really. where he loved spring, he hated winter with a bitter passion. but that of course was off topic. "indeed." he nodded in agreement. "someone must be lying or out of their mind to deny it." he smirked. it was the truth. if someone didn't like spring or even the many pleasant things that came with it, then they didn't know what was worth loving really. "it's a personal favorite of mine for rather obvious reasons." he admitted, regarding the recognizable tail. that was literally his biggest giveaway. he could always recognize the foolish confident in the eyes of his weaknesses when they spotted it. sad really.
with his question answered without any hesitancy, the snivy tilt his head to the side a bit as he listened closely to the woman's reasons. "i'm sure it will." he spoke with a warm smile. "this place has helped me out plenty of times whenever i needed a break." he admitted. those breaks of course tending to be the times whenever he got back from a stressful heist but sometimes when his 'normal' life got annoying he'd come here too. "hopefully my presence isn't interrupting you though. i know i'm not quite the interesting company." he smirked. that was the biggest load of bullshit he'd come up with today. even he found it hard not to laugh at it. to think he wasn't interesting. yeah silas was way too arrogant for his own good. he always believed it wasn't arrogance if it were true though. "and i'm sure my students would agree i'm pretty stressful." he continued. that is if the girls weren't ogling him the entire time he was around.
he made his way close to the fountain once more, directing towards the place next to him, waiting for permission to join before sitting down and clasping his hands together. "so! this might come off as rude or creepy but it's worth giving it a shot." he smirked as he looked over to mizumi. "what's got a lovely thing like you stressed out?" he asked, that weak smile of his having caught his attention. did he genuinely care though? that was the question. it was pretty difficult to find out his true motives. but he seemed genuinely concerned. even though they had literally met mere moments ago. "you never know. i might have been a therapist in my past life." he offered jokingly, hoping to lighten the mood.

Listening to the other speak, Mizumi only shook his head in response. Really, he was a strange man - however as he talked of students, the boy perked up. Really! "A teacher..". He mumbled the words faintly before asking this time, a bit louder. Teaching was wonderful! He personally loved children. They were so smart, and kind. Of course some were little shits, but he adored them too! When the man asked questions about himself, Mizumi gave a gentle frown. "I didn't mean to cause worry! It's simply the stress.. any young adult feels!". He looked towards the fountain now, a nervous, perhaps forced smile. "Living alone for the first time, bills, work, trying to balance social and work and.. ah.. I never realized how hard adult life is!". Well, his life had always been hard. Since he was a child his father, Mizumi being his only son, was forced to constantly live by a schedule. After school it was tutors and extra classes and night school. Sports, bands, clubs and always having to help out in his father's dojo. He had grown so use to that way of life, even now he lived each day, knowing each hour what he would be doing. When those certain things didn't happen those certain hours, it was easy to toss someone like that into a headache induced fuss. Looking at the man once more, he gave a more relaxed smile now. "..Wish I had cherished my youth more is all.. and please, don't be shy! I don't mind anything, i'm very open~"[/b.]

"at least whenever the students actually behave enough to sit down and listen anyway." he finished with a chuckle.
at least one good thing about this deceitful thief was that he was a good listener, and at least seemed to put off like he was interested in helping people with their problems. with close attentiveness, he listened as mizumi explained his problem. and as he had mentioned how hard adulthood was, he chuckled and gave a warm, understanding smile. "indeed.. i suppose it's just something you tend to get used to over time. being introduced to new ideas and ways, this period of life really, can be pretty scary at first. but it get's better, i promise." he offered before bumping into her shoulder lightly with smirk. "just don't try so hard to make things happen. you're still pretty young. no need to make things all work and no play. have some fun a bit and enjoy life while you can." he continued before taking a deep breath of the clear air and releasing a satisfied sigh. he certainly didn't have this problem when he reached that stage. mostly because he rebelled against it and went for the darker side of the path instead of getting a normal job like most. but he figured it was best to not offer that option to his new friend here.
at his last words of wishing he had cherished youth, he scoffed playfully before smiling. "what are you talking about? you're still young." he pointed out. well he didn't actually know how old this woman was but he was pretty sure she was still pretty youthful. just taking adulthood too seriously. "you want to know what i think?" he began with a pause as if waiting for an answer but instead continuing on anyway. "i think you should take a vacation. a chance to relax and not worry about work for a while." he advised. "i know the garden's and this fountain are pretty good places to calm down a little bit of stress but it sounds like you need a bigger stress reliever." he continued before pausing a bit, as if thinking about something.
"maybe i should take this chance to ask you on a little date of sorts." he riskily mentioned with confidence. "i mean, you did say you were open for anything." he smirked playfully, awaiting his response. "then again, maybe you are the type of girl who prefers an actual proposal to something like that?" he questioned before turning over to the feminine male, once again carelessly grasping one of his hands gently as he decided to act on such a consideration. "mizumi?" he began innocently. "i know we haven't known each other very long, and you probably wont be interested in such a thing with a guy like me, but would you do me the honor of accompanying me on a date?" he humored with a charming smile, obviously enjoying this a bit too much. could you blame him? at least his intentions seemed to be in the right place.

"I don't feel very young. I am only Twenty, yet I feel so ancient!". He had no wrinkles yet, thankfully. Having a wrinkle or grey hair no doubt would crush Mizumi. He had few talents that people actually admired, so he simply focused on his looks to gain him light attention. He was only human! Mizumi loved attention, being treated kindly, spoiled with sweet words like now. He was such a selfish boy- But he was a boy. As the other asked him out once, for a moment, Mizumi's heart fluttered and then fell. He almost said no before the man went on another way of asking him - this one led to Miuzmi hiding his face behind his hands and laughing. What a loser he was!! His hands slowly lowered, and the young designer gave him a smile, but slowly shook his head. "..You're so cute! It is something i would love - however you are a tad wrong..rather..". He sighed a bit, frowning. He hated telling people. Shattering the image they had. "I'm a boy..heh..". Now his eyes shifted away, rather nervously.

the mild amount of shock was pretty evident on his face when she - rather he stated that he was indeed a boy and not the woman he had understandably assumed from the beginning. however, despite what may have been mizumi's anticipation for a response, the gijinka returned with an amused chuckle. "your point?" he simply asked, that smile of his never seeming to falter. "if that was your attempt to repel me, you are going to have to do much better than that, my dear." he winked. male, female, in-between, it certainly didn't matter to him. love was love - lust was lust. there was no need to be stingy. he'd gladly share with anyone who was interested. so this feminine male certainly had nothing to worry about in the matter. besides, his opinion on him certainly didn't change with this new information.
"i honestly never would have guessed." he admitted. "you certainly can pull that look off better than any other woman can." he smirked, continuing to charm a bit to assure mizumi he was completely serious before finally offering again. "so what do you say? still not interested? cause i certainly wouldn't mind going on a date with such a beautiful creature." he smiled.

He was shocked when the other didn't give him a nasty look. Didn't recoil, walk away or make a disgusted comment. All things he had dealt with before in this situation. He knew all the words - faggot, slut, freak - and he knew all the looks. The sneer, the 'ugh', the types that yelled. It wore at the young man. Yet he never stopped dressing how he did - he loved it too much. His reasons were his own and not the topic at hand. Looking at the other, he sighed, his shoulders relaxing as a more pleased smile came to his face. " .. It's not often I get such a sweet reaction.. i'm glad!". He gave a softer smile, laying his hand over Silas' with a weak nod. " .. Alright, I'll go. .. It's the least I can do for you being so kind towards me.". He kept his hand over the other's, a much more happy look in his eyes - and far more relaxed. Any tension he previously had was completely gone as he gave a gentle laugh. "Though you are far too loose with the compliments you give!"

"you don't have to consider it a repayment!" he pointed out with a chuckle. "you just seem like you could use some fun to get rid of that stress. and it would give me the chance to get to know you." he explained. mizumi could definitely take pride in knowing he'd caught the man's interest. "though if that's how it must be i suppose i can take it." he smirked. either way, a date was a date. and one with this guy could turn out equally interesting. he certainly didn't want to pass up the chance.
"to be honest, i thought i was doing pretty decent with the compliments. i'm usually much more forward." he reasoned, feigning shock. "sorry! that's the lowest setting i have, dear." he teased.
he supposed the next step was setting up this date. "now, though i don't think you look like you need to be anymore prepared, would you like to set up an actual date next time you are available? or perhaps a little quick one now is better in your interests?" he questioned, obviously not caring either way. he was sure he could whip up a quick date in a matter of minutes should he have to. but he decided to be fair and figure out what the other would like to do. "either way, we can just sit here and talk a while i suppose." he shrugged. "there's really no rush on my side. my schedule is pretty open." he chuckled.
