Hey everyone! Just a quick question. When I joined, I noticed that the gijinka function seemed like it was more about "the pokemon's soul," rather than a physical form. That was really cool. And I've been looking around and I see threads involving a human having the certain pokemon's ears. I understand that the gijinka can morph in to their respective pokemon form, but is there some sort of form in between? could a gijinka walk around without any evidence that they're a gijinka? Or do they always have a body part/body parts from their pokemon?
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. This looks like a great site and I'm very happy to become a part of it!

I believe it is based on the player, to be honest. I give my furret and tail and ears, and my lavera..thing. I always spell it wrong! has the grey skin and horns ( homestuck faceclaim ehehe ) but some pokemon have few traits that can easily transferred and some people choose to not give them any physical traits. Some go as far as I have, given them horns and strange skin, while others go as little as to just give them different looking eyes.
HOWEVER I MAY NOT BE COMPLETELY RIGHT. Just what I think. Is correct. Sob.

Cola is right I think, it all depends on the player. I don't give my characters many pokemon features. Like Abby (Skitty) just has pink hair, where as Theo (Larvitar) doesn't have any pokemon features.
EDIT: My most extreme thing I did is Sara (Gastly). She's undead cause Gastly is a ghost type, and has smoke coming out of severed neck.

exactly what they've said :3 it's up to you how far (or not far) you take it. ditto can morph into another human and duskull can walk through walls, but you don't have to have those traits. for sunkern, he could be a little more active in sunlight or something like that, for instance.
