COMMON INQUIRIES
[style=background-color: #e3e3e1; border-top: 1px dotted #232323; border-bottom: 1px dotted #232323; color: #1a445c; text-align: justify; text-decoration: none; font-size: 9px; line-height: 10px; padding: 4px;]✻ can pairs pool money to buy things for the team?
[/style]absolutely! because pairs are a team, they both can work to gain money for similar items. a team member can buy anything with both his and his partner's money, just as long as you make a note of it when you're purchasing. you must also obviously have permission to use your partner's money.✻ blanks are confusing :c.
yes, yes they are. here's a very simple explanation that will hopefully help: blanks are the extras. they are created when something happens to destroy or separate them from their partner. a blank may be a trainer or gijinka, and blanks can pair with each other or a pre-existing team. blanks will never be as powerful as a normal team, but they will certainly hold their own if they become a third part of a team.✻ so a blank can be a third member of a team?
yes, however we'd like to keep that as rare as possible. a trio rather than a pair will naturally be very powerful, so we'd like you to ask for permission before pairing with an already made partnership.✻ can a blank evolve?
if a blank has not been accepted into a team unofficially, then no. blanks must be a part of a team in order to evolve, just like the rest of the gijinkas. if a blank is alone, they cannot evolve. (this is subject to change, but take it as canon for now).✻ how do we know when our pair has lost a battle?
think pokemon. if you faint, you're done. we don't have any sort of damage calculators or any of that complicated junk, so use your better judgment. keep in mind that pairs always have a weakness when it comes to type advantages. zeros also have extra weaknesses.✻ do you use abilities?
not at the moment. however, we'll be incorporating them soon.✻ if a gijinka gets hit outside of battle, do trainers feel the pain?
yes and no. depending on how strong your bond is (which can be up to your discretion as a writer -- just remember that no matter what, you will still need 10 threads to complete the evolution process) a gijinka will be able to hit himself in the face and the trainer will not be or will be affected. the stronger the bond, the more a trainer will feel pain outside of battle.✻ why are things so expensive here?
every item affects your team. because we're trying to make this site based on teamwork, we're encouraging everyone to use money together in order to make purchases from the shop. if you want to buy levels but are 10 dollars short, have your partner use part of their funds to help! prices are inflated so that it is much easier for two people to buy multiple things rather than just one.
