Ryuunomu wandered around the busy street downtown. There was no destination in mind. He was very relieved to be out of that place that smelled of chemicals, sickness, death, blood, throw up, piss, and so many other nasty smells that it made his head dizzy and his body feel sick. Because, Ryuu's nose was so sharp he could smell all the things that were happening on his floor. Ryuunomu breathed deeply at the fresher, cool air. He enjoyed the smell of the city so much better then the smell of the hospital. Ryuunomu already felt so much better just by being out of the place.
When he first left he just fallowed the pull. It was like a magnetic pull. Ryuu had been feeling it for a while but it was just that much stronger. So, having nothing better to do he just fallowed the pull and here he was in downtown. The streets were filled with many people, even though it was about 6 at night. There were one or two early dunks, he could smell the alcohol on them and hear there stumbling steps. There were a ton of smokers, and the smell combined with the smell of gasoline, car exhaust, and burnt rubber from before. So, the air wasn't exactly fresh, but it was so much fresher then before.
Ryuu felt sorry for who ever had felt his pain for those few days; he thinks about three, but he could be wrong. Who ever it was must of had the worst headache... Consitering how hard he hit his head. They also must of been sore all over, because Ryuunomu had been told that he had many bruises covering his body. Ryuu was glade that he heals fast, for all of that was already healed. It was possible that his head still ached but... It was better.
Though he suddenly wondered if the person could even feel his pain because they hadn't met yet... So maybe, just maybe he didn't put that person through so much pain. Ryuunomu could only hope that was the case. He hadn't met his partner yet, but he still didn't want to put the person in pain. This might seem like a bad thing, however Ryuu was happy he didn't meet his partner yet. Because if he had then his partner would of had to go through the same thing he went through. Ryuunomu wouldn't wish that on his worst enemy.
Ryuunomu could feel the pull getting stronger and stronger as he walked through the crowded streets. It was making his back itch. The more he fallowed the pull, the stronger it got, and the more his back itched. Soon his back was in a burning sensation, and it was almost like his body was moving on his own, pulling him forward.
Then the pull shifted it was next to him then behind him, his body turned to fallow. Ryuu caught the arm of the person who had walked past him. As soon as it happened Ryuunomu snapped back to reality. There was only a lingering touch of the pull and the burn, as if he was already stuck to the magnet that had been pulling him along. The person who's arm he had captured was only a bit taller then him, he could tell based on where the sound of his breath was coming from. They seemed lean based on the amount of muscle in there arm, most likely male. His analysis told less then a second for him to process but Ryuu wasn't focusing on that. There was a name that filled his mind. Almost in a sigh the name slipped unbidden from his lips, "Nameless..."

Sure he hadn't had much luck so far but that never stopped him. It was worth looking into. Who knows, might lead to something this time? With that in mind, the young teen quietly left his apartment, pulling his hood over his head as he started down the street, looking around for whatever was causing what he called his "instincts" to stir. But as usual, the boy was determined to find out.
He shoved his hands into his pockets as he made his way down the street, avoiding getting too close to the shady characters that the more responsible elders warned him about. They often threatened that if he didn't shape up, he'd be one of them when he got older. He didn't see how a little fun could do something like that. He'd never be a bad guy. Especially not join Team Rocket like his father constantly associated him with because of his frowned on behaviors. It was all just fun and games. He promised he'd never go that far down the road. But that didn't mean he wanted to be a goody two-shoes either. What do you expect from a boy going through the rebellious stages of life? He smirked at the thought as he passed through the crowd, wandering just where this pull would lead him this time.
It wasn't long before the aching feeling just suddenly stopped as he was passing by a smaller kid, one whom he'd thought was much too young to be out alone this late but didn't bother to scold them for it. He hated when people did that to him so he certainly wasn't going to do the same. However just as he was about to pass on and continue he felt someone grab onto his arm, Nemo freezing in place as his brows perked in surprise. From old habits, his mind completely ran to the idea that he had been caught by another cop scolding him for doing something bad, searching his mind for an excuse but falling short when he realized he hadn't even done anything. Not only that but there was something strange about this touch. He couldn't quite explain it. But while he was thinking about it, he managed to hear whoever held him mutter something oddly familiar. "What did you say?" he asked, astonished as he turned to find the kid from before was the one who had captured him.
Though the situation was strange, not to mention these strange new feelings he was experiencing, he felt somewhat more relieved. Almost pretty comfortable about being in this smaller boy's presence. Sure it was kind of odd and perhaps a normal person would have been concerned about that, but Nemo wasn't quite normal to begin with anyway, offering a friendly smile to the familiar stranger. Though he still had quite a few questions. Like who this person was and why they had grabbed him. But he supposed they had time to get there. Might as well greet him, right? "Uhm... Hiya!" he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand. "Can I help you?" he asked in a friendly tone, simply standing there with his arm still in his grip, deciding to simply wait till he let go instead of asking him to. Not that it bothered him too much he supposed.
Getting a better look at him now, he realized the boy looked a little strange. Not in a bad way of course! He just looked out of place in this town. Maybe even slightly creepy to some people. He didn't think so though. Not yet anyway. He had every right to though considering he had grabbed him out of nowhere but he didn't worry about that sort of stuff, more concerned with this potential new friend. "I don't think I've seen you around before." he mused to himself aloud with a tilt of the head as he waited for another word from this quiet boy, looking at what was revealed of his rather hidden face. Sheesh. This kid was pretty blank.

Ryuunomu was rather surprised that the person he grabbed wasn't angry or anything. Ryuu absorbed the person's voice when he asked his question. Yes, defiantly male. "Nameless." Ryuu said his voice strong again. It was w almost as if a spell had been broken and yet everything was still different. He had no idea of what to do know that he had captured this stranger. Ryuunomu figure the guy would just do something, so he didn't have to do anything. He didn't know how he knew that he just did. He felt like he knew the person before like this wasn't their first time meeting. As if they had been friends before that had just fell out of touch for a while and were just rediscovering each other. Still a little awkward and strange, this is a stranger after all. Normal people don't go around grabbing random people in the street and then feel comfortable around them, right? It wasn't 100% random though, this guy was the magnet. So, it was the natural response... Ryuunomu had started fidgeting by this point shuffling his foot on the ground. However, his face was still completely blanking, showing no sign of his nervousness. Wait... Could this maybe mean that this person is his partner?! Ryuu didn't have to much time to dwell on the thought for he was now being greeted. "Hi..." Ryuunomu's nervousness disappeared when he heard the guy- auh, stranger give a chuckle. Well, that was weird. This person was speaking to him friendly tone, even though he had randomly caught him.
Ryuunomu had a little 'oh' noise as he realized that he was still holding on to the guy's arm even though he had shown no sign of discomfort. Ryuu dropped the guy's arm, but then a sudden fear struck him. What if the guy left without him physically holding the stranger here?! He didn't know why his heart suddenly constricted and pounded. It felt painful, but it wasn't a physical pain, bug an emotional one. What he didn't understand was why he was feeling the sudden pain about a Stranger leaving him! Alone... Again...?
So, right after Ryuu dropped the guy's arm, he grabbed his finger lightly. At least he didn't grab the guy's hand that would have been embarrassing. None of Ryuu's emotional turmoil showed on his face, but his actions spoke for him in someways. It still didn't make sense why though, even the stranger wanted to know why! Even if he didn't say it that way, it was implied in the question! Why... Why... Why!? Wait! If he was in fact Ryuunonu's partner then that would explain it all... So, there is the answer to his question, an other question. "Are you... My partner?"
Ryuu could a deep breath, trying to figure out his scent. Maybe they had met somewhere before. Even if it was just in passing... No, Ryuunomu didn't recognize the stranger's scent. It was calming though... Ryuu's nerves went down again. He wanted to lead forward to get more of the scent or better yet hold the guy. However, Ryuunomu refused to act on either strange thought. This guy us a stranger, you can't to that to a stranger or even people you know! You just don't do that stuff. What the guy said surprised him. It was highly unlikely for them to have net before now that he thinks about it. He hasn't even been here for very long! "I stay in the crowds or the places most people don't go to... Also, I only resonantly came here... So, I don't think we would have met before." Ryuu's voice was completely blank, matching his face. He was still surprised that the guy hadn't run away, or punched him or something! And he was still holding the person's finger... Maybe he should let go. However, then the guy was more likely to run away. Ryuunomu for what ever reason couldn't have this guy just leave him. Ryuu snapped his teeth the only display of the turmoil his brain was cooking up.
Maybe there was someway to prove that they were partners... If he could do that then the guy wouldn't leave right? Well, ether way it was worth a shot. Ryuunomu did the only thing he could think of that would cause pain without it being that noticeable. He bit his tongue. Hard. It even started to bleed. However, he just started swallowing the blood down, so that it wouldn't leak out of his mouth. If the stranger reacted to the pain then he must be his partner. Ryuu would have been holding his breath it he wasn't drinking his own blood...

He had heard it before. Or rather thought about it. It was a simple word, one that had echoed occasionally in his mind. Perhaps even a team name! But he hadn't met his partner. Frankly, he hasn't even been able to find someone for a team so it was simply discarded as nothing to worry about. At least not until he found his a Pokemon who wanted to be his partner. Unfortunately the young teen couldn't help but feel like he wouldn't find anyone, no matter how optimistic he seemed on the outside. He wasn't sure why and the fact was confusing to himself but he always imagined he was just one of those blanks for one reason or another. Of course hearing that name now was quite a shock to his system. So much so that he really couldn't put two and two together at that moment, much too astonished by the mere fact someone said it so randomly like that. Especially since it hit so close to home for him. He didn't bother to investigate further however. He wasn't sure how he should go about it anyway. Besides, maybe that would be too rude.
The quiet boy finally managed a simple "hi" in response, almost like he had been awakened from some sort of trance. Usually Nemo was pretty good at reading people but he seemed a little more difficult. Of course he knew the stranger was in deep thought about something. His body language said it all. A look of concern appeared on his own face at the thought. This guy did look pretty young, perhaps even younger than himself! Was he in trouble or something? Maybe he had pulled him aside because of something like that? A possibility though a rather odd one. Strangers didn't typically look to the short fellow as someone who could easily assist them with their troubles. It was simply a judging by the cover situation really and given his caring side, he couldn't help but want to help the boy with whatever was troubling him. It was perhaps probably the only reason why he was so willing to stick around. Then again, the boy seemed pretty clingy to him anyway. He might have not been able to get away if he wanted. The thought amused him, soft laughter managing to slip despite his attempt to hold it back.
The kid seemed pretty nervous. And the fact he didn't want to let go of him should have been a red flag for the lone Trainer. But instead of concerning himself with strange behavior itself, he was more worried about what had him uneasy. But before he could say anything the kid brought up a question that really caught him off guard.
Nemo's brows rose in surprise. Where did that come from? The poor boy almost acted like he was lost. Was that it? Was he missing his partner and confusing him as such? That would be kind of strange though. Unless he was... blind? Another strong possibility though he couldn't quite see his eyes so he had no idea, nor did he really want to pry despite the irritating curiosity. Then again, maybe they were actually partners? No! That was crazy. Wouldn't they have known? He bit his lip at the thought, scratching his head as he tried to figure it out. "Uhm... I don't really know.." he hopelessly offered with a slight bit of a sad tone in his voice. Hey, he would literally love it if he could be! If not for the mere fact that he really wanted a partner, it would perhaps be the fact he might recognize the gijinka this boy was. And if he was right, he would be extremely jealous of whoever was his partner. But alas, he wasn't sure at all and couldn't offer a solid answer. Never had he felt so confused in his life. "I really wouldn't know." he continued. "I've never met mine." he added with a sheepish chuckle.
Nemo couldn't help but notice something was bothering the boy again, his concern about him getting the better of him. Rude or not, it couldn't hurt to ask, right? Maybe he'd be of better help if he knew what was going on. But just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, a sharp pain made him choke on his words, eyes widening as he covered his mouth, barely muffing the loud "Ow!" as he felt like he had bit his own tongue. "Shit..." he muttered with a bit of a slur as he stuck out his pained tongue, unsure how that had even happened. It wasn't long before he was reminded he had company, sure the boy had found his actions extremely strange. He offered a sheepish smile, still wincing slightly as he offered an apology, oblivious it was the boy in front of him who had caused him the pain for his little experiment in the first place.

To Ryuunomu the fact that this person had never met his partner before was even more reason to carry out his experiment. However, he realized now that he may have bitten his tongue to hard. It wasn't a good idea for him to bite his tongue in the first place. He nearly a biting type instead of a dragon type. Ryuu had little to no restraint when biting something.
Ryuunomu clearly heard the others muffled, "ow!" and even his bit of cursing. Ryuunomu felt horrible he had caused this person so much pain. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bite that hard... Ryuu spoke completely clear, even though it was his tongue that was injured. He reached his hand to the others face to help him but then quickly recoiled. Almost as if he had been stung. Ryuunomu remember that he was the one injured, when he felt the blood streaming from the corners of his mouth. Sometimes it was hard for him to remember that he was injured when he couldn't feel the pain from it. Ryuunomu started swallowing the blood down again to keep it from leaking out even more.
If he wanted to help this person with the pain he would have to treat his injury. It was very hard to do this standing in the middle of a busy side walk. Ryuu grabbed the guy's hand and pulled him expertly through the crowd. He could tell where everyone was going, how fast they were going, and if they were unsure and would randomly change direction, by the sound of their foot steps, their breathing, their clothes moving against their skin, and sometimes even there heartbeat. Ryuunomu made sure that they didn't run into anybody. Sometimes if a collation was unavoidable Ryuu would take they hit making sure that his partner, yes his partner, he was sure now got out unscathed.
Once they were out of the crowd, Ryuu stopped. This was the tricky part sense he couldn't see it was hard to tell if there was any place to do so now. Ryuunomu could hear a couple sitting on something a yard away or so. However, that didn't mean there was anything to sit on over here. Not wanting to trip on anything Ryuu reached out with the hand not holding on to the guy's, and scooted forward with his foot. His leg was the first thing to hit something, he reached down and felt around with his hand. It seemed to be a bench.
Ryuunomu sat down, letting go of the other's hand. He wasn't going to try and force the guy to sit. Even if the other ran away, he now felt like he could track him down. He was his partner so he should be able to. Anyway, Ryuu wanted to treat the wound first. He didn't want the other to be in pain. Ryuunomu guessed that he should first check and see if he bit clean through his tongue. If he did it meant another trip to the hospital and Ryuu really didn't want that. So, he stuck his tongue out and used his finger to inspect the wound. He didn't bite through it good. Pulling it back into his mouth he stuffed a few cotton balls in there around the wound. He stole them from the hospital, Ryuu figured they wouldn't mind all that much. He also took a bag of those wet wipes. Ryuunomu took one out and started clearing his face and hand of the blood, but he wasn't sure if he was doing a good job sense he couldn't really see what he was doing. Maybe he should ask the guy for help? No that's way to embarrassing!
Once the bleeding stopped, he put the cotton balls into the dirty wet wipe. He realized that he didn't know his partner's name. "I am sorry for hurting you... My name is Ryuunomu, and I guess sense you felt my pain that we're partners. So, what's yours?"
He knew it seemed random and strange, but what part of their meeting so far hadn't been random and strange. Ryuu knew that the other guy should have ran away by now, but he hadn't. And he should have letting go of the guy sooner but he didn't. Ryuu was just glad to have found his partner. Most people wouldn't have noticed but the corners of his lips were turned up ever so slightly. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

How did it even happen in the first place? He knew for a fact he didn't bite it and it wasn't just a short felt pain either. It only seemed to continue on, the pain dulling ever so slightly. While he was contimpating the reasons, he barely caught what the shorter boy had said. It was enough to get the gist of it however which was quite clear by the rather confused look he had given him. He didn't mean to bite that hard? When the hell did he bite him? Oh yes, Nemo was rather slow to the show, not grasping the painfully obvious fact this stranger and himself were connected.
It was definitely a strange situation. He didn't think he'd had a more unusual encounter in his life. He watched as the boy began to reach for his face before quickly recoiling, causing the hopeless teen more confusion which suddenly turned to worry when he noticed the blood slipping out of the corners of the other's mouth. "Geez! Are you alright, kid?!" he exclaimed in shock, about to reach out and see what was the problem only to have his hand grabbed and suddenly found himself being tugged along through the crowd. He wasn't sure what was going on and found himself getting more and more worried by the second, even more than he usually was with people. And he didn't even know who this guy was! Of course he kept silent, it seemed this guy knew what he was doing. He'd just have to hope it was for his own good. But while he was being lead through the crowd, he allowed his mind to wander, specifically on what he'd said. Was it possible that they were partners after all? Taking the time to consider everything, it seemed logical. The only explainable reason he could come up with for feeling this guy's pain. The thought actually made him smile a bit till he remembered his partner was wounded, his worry once again rising. Well... At least he couldn't feel it, right? No, Nemo had to take that responsibility. It was fine, he could handle a bit of pain. Besides, the fact he had finally found his partner kind of dulled the pain for now. He just hoped the kid hadn't bit his tongue off or something. The mere thought made him wince.
It wasn't long before they broke out of the crowd and Nemo watched curiously as the boy began feeling around. So he really was blind. You couldn't tell with how well he maneuvered around the busy crowds. With this new knowledge, he tried to help him out with finding the bench, making sure he didn't run into anything or trip along the way till he finally sat down, Nemo not hesitating to take a seat next to him and turning over to him as he went to work on fixing the damage. As he got to washing the blood from his face however, Nemo rolled his eyes before putting his hand over the other's directing him to the spots he missed. Hey, if they were partners why should he complain? He chuckled at the thought.
"Maybe next time you want to prove a point you should go for a less painful approach." he teased with a chuckle, obviously having no hard feelings about the situation. It seemed he was fine though so that was good. And the pain was starting to die down a bit for himself so there really wasn't much to complain about, right? The boy however seemed to still feel apologetic over it and Nemo found himself smiling at the thought. "Don't sweat it. I'm a tough guy." he replied with another lighthearted chuckle. "Just... You know... Warn me next time you try something like that." he continued, sticking out his tongue at him though he should have known he couldn't really see the gesture.
As Ryuunomu introduced himself, Nemo had realized he hadn't done so earlier. He supposed he was so surprised getting stopped by someone that he hadn't remembered. Then he mentioned to obvious, Nemo leaning back with a happy sigh, in a much better mood. For once those "instincts" of his didn't lead him on a wild goose chase. He finally found what he was looking for. "Guess so. Didn't imagine I'd meet you like that but at least it finally happened, right?" he pointed out with a smirk.
"As for me..." he hesitated at first, always hating his first name. He never really gave it to people unless he had to but he supposed since they were going to probably be seeing a lot of each other he might as well. "I'm Nemo. Like the weird clownfish cartoon." he spoke with slight distaste. That was perhaps the only reason why he hated his mother's choice in name. Of course she had chose it because she thought it was cute. She didn't realize it actually meant "Nobody". "But feel free to call me King." he continued with a smile. Odd name probably. Perhaps even mistakenly arrogant for him to choose. But it was much preferred over his own. There wasn't arrogance involved. Okay... Maybe a little. But that was besides the point.

Ryuunomu was extremely happy that his partner didn't leave him. He even helped him find the bench, and clean his face. It had felt almost natural. If it wasn't for the fact that Ryuu had only really been treated like an experiment, something that could been thrown away at any moment, it would have felt completely natural as if he had known the guy his whole life. However, as it was it felt weird to have someone help him out, even somewhat embarrassing. Ryuunomu could feel a tad bit of heat on his cheeks, however he had no idea what that meant. That little light blush was the only thing on his face that betrayed his emotions. It was probably a weird sight to behold. A completely blank face with a blush on it.
When his partner pointed out that he should have used a less painful approach, he nodded. "I should have just pinched myself or something... I am sorry for putting you into that much pain..." The chuckle, put him to ease, but he still felt really bad for hurting the guy. Stranger or not the guy was his partner and he didn't want him to be in pain. Then he added the part about being a tough guy, along with the warning idea, as if he could read Ryuu's mind. Ryuunomu agreed again."I will take your word for it. I will make sure to inform you next time. I won't keep you out of the loop.". Ryuu enjoyed the guys chuckles he realized. They had a soothing affect, as if everything would be alright now. Like there was nothing to worry about.
After he introduced himself, he listened to the guy shift and give a sigh. It didn't sound like a bad one, so Ryuu was content to wait for his response. When he got the first response, he replayed imminently. "I wouldn't of imagined meeting you like this either. I am glade it happened now. Any sooner would have been bad ..."
. Ryuunomu felt suddenly like he had said to much. However, he reminded himself that this was his partner, and they would leave him behind from knowing his past, right? He didn't seem like that kind of person at least. Ryuunomu was a little too wrapped up in his thoughts that he missed the next thing he said. However, he got his partner's name, and even his nick-name. Ryuu could hear and feel the uneasiness the other had around his name. Thus, he focused on the nick-name, plus it was fitting seeing as Ryuunomu was the fighter aka 'the servant' (that's how he thought about it). "Alright, I'll call you King." Ryuu offered a hand for him to shake, "It's nice to meet you, King." He really meant it, even if it didn't show. Ryuu was happy to finally know his partner's name. He could now stop referring to him as the guy, person or stranger. In his head he rolled around Nemo's name. It means nobody... "Guess we really are Nameless" he whispered, not realizing he had spoken that part out loud. Ryuu technically didn't exist, and his partner's name was 'Nobody'... Nameless was a fitting team name for them. Ryuunomu thought back, to the burning sensation on his back. It had been right over his spine. Right were Nameless was burned into his back. It was the only proof he had that Team Rocket didn't have his partner. And now his partner was he with him, feeling his pain. He wasn't damaged goods as Ryuunomu was. That fact gave Ryuu some comfort. Nemo didn't have to go through the same pain he had. Ryuu didn't want to be out in the open anymore. What if someone from Team Rocket saw him with his partner, and was able to chapter him. He stood up. They had stayed in the same place for much to long. Ryuunomu could hear the blood pounding in his ears. How could he have forgotten that he was being targeted by Team Rocket?! They didn't want to lose their Test Subject #4, the, in someways, first successful Zero. However, that wasn't really true because he still had a real partner. "Let's go King. I'll walk you home. We've been here for to long..." He 'always' said more then he meant to around this guy! Must be because he's my partner. Ryuu just hoped they could go without Nemo putting up a fight to stay. His King would kind of have to lead the way home, and it's not like Ryuunomu could take him to his home instead. He didn't have one. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

No need to make too bad of a first impression right? Not like he was going to say anything bad or anything. Just a simple tease. But he'd save that sort of stuff for later. He could already tell this guy was going to be fun. As long as he didn't hurt himself like that again. He was tough but that didn't mean he wanted to be surprised with pain like that all the time. No need to make it a routine thing. "A pinch would have been better." he agreed with a nod. "But quit apologizing." he smirked. "You sound like a broken record." he playfully teased. He was glad he cared but there was no need to worry so much about it really. Besides, he didn't want him to be upset about it. It was their first day together, they shouldn't be acting sad. "I promise I'm fine. It was just surprising as all." he admitted, hopeful his assurance would convince him it was nothing to cry over.
At his reply over their meeting, Nemo caught the last of his words, head tilting to the side a bit in confusion. "Bad?" he began, unsure if he'd heard him right. "What do you mean?" he continued, now genuinely concerned once more. Kind of strange that he was glad about not ever having the chance to meet before this. But he noticed the sudden uneasiness he had after saying that. He frowned slightly at the thought before deciding to not push him for answers. Yet. He was sure it wasn't that bad anyway. But just for curiosity's sake he kind of wanted to know. That and a lot of other things. It felt like they had known each other for a long time. He sort of needed to catch up with what his partner had been doing while they were separated. But again, he figured he could try and be patient. With how desperate he seemed about keeping him from leaving earlier, he doubted they'd get separated again. While he was musing about this, he was brought back to reality when he had spoke again, smiling as he agreed to his nickname.
"Nice to finally meet you too, Ryuu." he smirked as he shook his hand. Sure he hadn't offered a nickname himself but he figured why not? It was much less of a mouthful in his opinion. So far this strange encounter was turning into quite an enjoyable meeting. That much was clear by the smile stuck on his face. How could he not be happy? He finally had a partner. A bond with someone. Not to mention he could really protect someone for once. Even if that just meant enduring his pain. It was worth it in his mind. And then Ryuu brought up Nameless again, Nemo smiling sheepishly. Great. Did that mean he knew the meaning of his name too? Actually he supposed it wasn't a bad thing after all. It didn't seem like he was making fun of him either. Kind of comforting really. He was used to being refereed to as nothing and sometimes even treated as such. He shook that out of his mind though, musing over the name. "I was wondering why that sounded familiar." he chuckled. "Lately that's all that has been echoing in my head." he admitted. "Nameless..." he repeated to himself. "Sounds a lot cooler than nobody... I like it!" he laughed, rubbing his back against the rest of the bench as he felt a burning sensation there, not realizing just why that was.
It wasn't long before their little peaceful chat was brought to an abrupt end as he watched Ryuu once again act a little nervous before finally standing up. "You okay, man?" he asked before Ryuu finally explained though his reasoning only confused him more. He acted like he was being chased after or something. He chuckled at the thought, not realizing how serious that really was. Of course he couldn't hold back his curiosity anymore, obediently standing next to him as if ready to go but turning to him with a questioning look on his face. "Seriously. If I didn't know any better I would think you were being targeted or something." he chuckled slightly, trying to retain the light tone but still wondering just what was up. "What's the rush?" he continued, deciding not to lead him home yet till he had gotten at least a hint about why he was acting so odd. Not that he meant to be mean or that he didn't trust him. Just because he was curious.

Ryuu enjoyed the conversation they were starting, but his paranoia always seemed to get the better of him. He should have been able to hold a conversation in the open, without wanting to run away right. When Nemo helped him, chuckled, laughed or even shook his hand, Ryuunomu just forgot all of the bad stuff for that moment. It was nice.
His partner's curiosity surprised him. Ryuunomu stopped and sat back down. Nemo had been so nice to him, and here he was ruining it with his paranoia. Ryuu was grateful for his partner's concern, however, he wasn't sure if he should tell him. He let his King's question and statement hang in the air, as he sorted out his thoughts. It couldn't hurt to tell him now... Ryuu wouldn't share all of the details but his partner deserved to know. Then he could decide if he wanted to stay by him or not.
With his mind made up, he turned his head in the direction his partner's breath was coming from. "Your right I am being targeted... So, I am a little bit paranoid." Ryuunomu paused unsure of how the other would react. After a minute he continued on anyway, "I was Team Rocket's Test Subject #4 for the Zero project. I escaped and they are still chasing after me. I am very sorry." He hung his head in shame. Ryuu was damaged goods. He wasn't worthy of being this kind person's partner. Ryuunomu had even hurt Nemo already. He scoffed his feet on the ground. He really wasn't good at this. Ryuu usually didn't tell people he had just met that he was Team Rocket's trash, they just hadn't finished taking it out yet. He really didn't want his partner to be caught though, to go through something like he did.
"I wanted to leave because I didn't want them to see you with me then capture you later, or something. I don't want you to get hurt and while your with me your in danger...
Ryuu then snapped his teeth shut (carefully avoiding his tongue). He was talking to much. For whatever reason his partner's presence made him want to open up all the flood gates, and tell him everything. However, he didn't want to over load the guy with stuff. "I am just being paranoid. I am sorry for worrying you, King... Oops I guess I apologized again even though you told me to stop." Ryuunomu remembered a question that Nemo had asked before, that he had painfully ignored. It should get an answer. "I was glade I didn't meet you before, because that would have meant that you would be in their hands. I... I wouldn't... want that to... So, thats why." Ryuu faded out before a bit right before the end. His voice was starting to feel horse. Ryuunomu hoped it wasn't painful for his partner. He hadn't really talked with people very much sense his escape. Thus he wasn't really use to talking like this. Ryuu grabbed his partner's finger. He didn't want to grab his hand cause that was far to embarrassing. Especially if you add what he was going to say next. "If you want to stay here... I'll stay with you..." Ryuunomu turned his head completely away from the other. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

He hadn't realized he was actually spot on! His eyes widened in surprise as he listened to him begin, listening carefully as he explained just why he was acting so paranoid. The story he got though seemed just as surprising, if not more. So much so that he found himself speechless after the runaway had finished, frowning as he hung his head. "Hey... Come on, Ryuu, it's okay." he offered in a comforting tone as he put his hand on the other's shoulder. "Don't apologize to me." he paused. "I should be the one who's sorry." he continued, unsure with himself why he had even said that at first. It just came out. But then again, he supposed in a way he should be. He was his partner whether he had known it or not. And since he couldn't help him with his past with Team Rocket he felt like he'd already failed him. What bothered him was the fact he literally didn't know. He was experimented on so he obviously should have felt everything he went through too, right? 'What the hell did they do to him?' he asked himself mentally before he was broken out of his thoughts as Ryuu answered his previous question.
Despite the obvious danger, Nemo didn't seem too threatened, not even fazed really. Was it courage? He couldn't tell you. For starters, he wasn't really one to worry about personal consequences, always concerning himself over other people instead. The same could be said right now. He honestly wasn't worried about the possibility of being captured. He was however worried about them coming after Ryuu. He couldn't be a good partner at the beginning but you could be damned well sure he wouldn't let them get their hands on him again. A rage was building up inside him at the mere thought but luckily he was broken out of it as Ryuu spoke again, unable to help but laugh as he kept apologizing before putting his hand over the boy's mouth to silence him before he could say sorry again. "It's fine." he chuckled before lowering his hand. "You need to relax though. Don't worry, I'm here now and I wont anything else happen to you, I promise." he spoke with pure confidence. He'd protect him or die trying.
After all that explanation he could feel a rather irritating scratch in his thought, once again wondering what could have caused it before remembering Ryuunomu, laughing a bit at the thought. "Obviously not much of a chatterbox, huh?" he teased, once again feeling as Ryuu held on to his finger. Odd as it was, he had to admit, the fact that he didn't want to let him go was pretty cute, even if such a gesture could really stir up some misunderstandings between two boys. He wasn't one to worry over stupid stuff like that though. Besides, it was different, right? Of course the way he worded the next statement would make anyone think there was something more than just a team partnership between the two. He blushed slightly at the thought before chuckling, pulling his finger from his grip momentarily before grabbing the smaller boy's hand and pulling him up to a stand.
"Come on." he began. "We'll exercise on that paranoia of yours another time." he smirked, being completely serious about the idea. The guy could learn to stop being so paranoid. Sure you couldn't blame him but that had to be one hell of a stressful life. It was good to be on guard but not that much! "We can go to my place. It's not much but it can at least give us a chance to lay low and get to know each other better." he pointed out, still holding onto his partner's hand, not at all worried about any strange looks. He was sure it was making his stressed out gijinka a little more comfortable anyway. His throat still felt a little irritated as he spoke and he wondered about Ryuu's being too hoarse for comfort. "We can get a drink or something along the way if you'd like." he paused. "If it's as annoying as it feels you could probably use it." he smirked. This might come in handy later on. Mr. Shy guy didn't seem to talk much so he supposed he could just gather what he needed to know that way.

Ryuunomu was grateful for his partner's quietness durning his explanation. He didn't think he would have been able to finish if he had said something in the middle. Despite Nemo's comforting tone, Ryuu tensed up when he put his hand on the Ryuu's shoulder. However, because of the comforting voice and the kind of apology, he quickly relaxed into the other's touch. It actually felt nice to be touched, without having your body be damaged with it. Ryuunomu just wasn't use to being touched in a friendly way. Before his body would almost always be hurt when someone touched him. He knew that his partner wouldn't hurt him or the King would be hurting himself. Plus he didn't seem like the type to hurt someone in general. Now, Ryuu's body would have to get use to it. Ryuunomu had only nodded, not really knowing how to respond to something so... Nice, sweet, he didn't know the right word.
Nemo's own responce to Ryuu's worry and parinoid shocked him. The guy was completely unfazed by the danger that he could be put in. No, he was worried about the danger Ryuu was in. Nemo had chuckled again which intently started to relax the young adult, or was he considered a late teenager. He didn't know and he didn't care; it wasn't important right now. Ryuu found it funny that he was being told to relax when the other had already relaxed him. For better or for worse his King's presence soothed him, making him relax even in such a vonerable place. Then Nemo even went so far to say that he would protect him. It had even sounded like a vow. It made him happy, embarrassed, shocked and worried all at the same time. It caused that weird heat to rush to his cheeks again. Shouldn't I be the one protecting you? Ryuunomu didn't say it out loud, because Nemo sound so confident. However, in his own mind he made a vow to protect his own personal King with his life. He didn't want anything bad to happen to Nemo, ever. Out loud though, Ryuu guessed he should share his gratitude with the other, "Thank you... No one has ever...
been so nice to me Thank you. When Ryuunomu's partner guessed about him not talking much, Ryuu made a guess of his own. He must have felt Ryuunomu's hoarseness. He felt bad for causing his partner more pain. "I haven't had too many people to talk to." Ryuu felt really bad for hurting Nemo, though he wouldn't apologize again, because his partner kept telling him not to. He would apologize when it really counted. Ryuu was stunned when Nemo pulled out of his grip, only to grab his hand and pull him to stand. Ryuunomu stumbled a bit at the sudden motion, causing him to fall into the other's chest a little. Ryuu felt the heat that was on just his cheeks before, now spread to the rest of his face. Even to his ears which even burned. Was he getting a fever or something? Ryuunomu was really happy that his partner held his hand, it was really embarrass when he tried it (and failed). However, after he relaxed to the contact, it felt almost natural. Maybe he felt this comfortable around this person because he was his partner. Ryuu felt, dare he say somewhat, safe with Nemo. He had never really felt safe with anyone before. Ryuunomu vaguely wondered what, "exercise your paranoia" meant, but he guessed that he could worry about it when the time came. Plus his mind was still busy trying to process being so close to another person. Ryuu still hadn't pulled away from his partner's chest, he wonder if Nemo would pull away. He hoped that he wouldn't. Ryuunomu enjoyed the feeling of touching someone without having his body be damaged to the process. It was very nice. Ryuu nodded at the other's idea of going to his place. If he had wanted to go to Ryuu's home, there wasn't really one, so that would have been awkward for him to explain. "I would like that. It's sounds great. We definitely should get to know each other better. And we won't have to worry..." Ryuunomu smiled at the fact that Nemo was still holding onto his hand. Sure it was hard to tell he was smiling, because it was only the corners of his lips were turned up. However, that was the equivalent of a smile from ear to ear on a normal person. When Nemo talked about getting a drink, Ryuu snapped his teeth together. He had forgotten about being hoarse, because he couldn't feel the pain. Nemo could through, he was causing his partner pain again. Ryuunomu let out something that would almost seem like a sigh through his nose. "Some tea would help..." For Ryuu it didn't really annoy him, because it just made his voice sound weird. If it was annoying his partner though he would be willing to stop and get some tea. Preferably sweet with lots of honey. Ryuu unconsciously laced his finger's with his partner's. His hands were only a little bit smaller the Nemo's, so it wasn't uncomfortable. He was honestly worried though, that he was getting a fever, because the heat on his face wouldn't leave. Ryuu felt his forehead with his free hand (he wasn't going to be letting go of his King's). This cause his bangs to be moved out of the way and make his sightless midnight blue eyes visible to the world. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"No problem!" he chuckled. That blush of his, man. For what seemed like a completely blank and void of emotion kid, that blush was quite a pleasant surprise. A pretty cute one too. But he continued to bite back saying that. Ryuu already seemed embarrassed enough as it was so no need to make it worse out in public for him, right? Even though the idea was a bit tempting. He wondered how the emotionless child (at least that's what he assumed, he was in for a surprise) would react to such a situation. Or even if he'd react at all! But he decided to be nice. Just for this guy. Though he'd have to get used to his teasing eventually. Teasing was just part of who he was. He smirked at the mere thought.
At his response to his assumption, it seemed Nemo was right to think that way. He supposed it should have been expected. "We'll break you out of that too." he smirked, sounding like he was joking but being completely serious. He was sure he had enough friends who'd love to meet him. Especially some of the girls, they'd probably think he was really cute for a little kid. Not to mention, Ryuu needed to get out of that shell of his anyway. He wanted to see him happier. He deserved the chance. At least in his mind anyway. He was going to turn this kid's life around. Maybe he'd be lucky to get him to completely forget about Team Rocket and what they did to him. It was a long shot but if it got them off his mind for at least a second, he'd be pleased.
He hadn't quite expected what had happened to happen though. So when he'd lifted Ryuu to his feet, he was surprised when he felt him fall into him, managing to keep both of them on their feet as he caught him, wrapping his free arm around him for a moment to help regain his balance. "Woah!" he chuckled with a sheepish smile. "Sorry, guess I didn't know my own strength." he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck nervously as soon as Ryuu was balanced once more. Of course then he noticed how red Ryuu was, biting his lip as he tried to keep back the amused laughter. God! That's adorable.
Despite helping him regain his footing, he also noticed that he still remained close to his chest. He was kind of worried at first. Did he hurt him or something? No. Otherwise he would have felt it, right? He supposed he just liked it. And when Ryuu spoke his thoughts were confirmed. He was alright, just enjoying it he guessed. That made him blush a bit darker but he decided to ignore it. So the plans seemed to be settled. Especially with the drink idea which Ryuu seemed slightly distraught about. "Hey, I'm fine if that's what you are worried about." he smirked. "It doesn't hurt that bad. Just feels weird." he pointed out as he rubbed his neck. His own voice sounded slightly scratchy because of it but not enough to raise too much alarm he thought. It was just a sore throat. Some tea would do them both good. "I know this coffee shop nearby. It has tea there too. All kinds!" he chuckled as he explained. "So don't be afraid to get whatever you want when we get there." he continued before he began leading him down the street, feeling as Ryuu laced his fingers with his own.
"You're killing me~" he whined playfully with a pout. "Stop acting so cute!" he finally admitted, pulling his partner closer before noticing him touching his forehead, catching sight of the blue eyes as he did so. The new discovery was enough to make him abruptly stop, blocking the crowd who now had to maneuver around them as he got a better look. "To be completely honest with you, I was starting to think you didn't have eyes." he admitted with a chuckle before replacing Ryuu's hand with his own on the other boy's forehead. "What's wrong? Starting to feel sick?" he asked, unaware of the oblivious gijinka's trouble with his blushing. How was he supposed to know he had no idea what blushing was?

Ryuu's partner seemed to be amused by something this whole time. He wonder what could have been amusing him for so long. Maybe it was something he would have to see, like graffiti or something. Sense Ryuu can't see those kinds of things he wouldn't get it. Or maybe he had something on his face... Either way Ryuunomu could tell Nemo was getting a kick out of whatever, by the way his voice sounded and even by the way he moved it was just so obvious.
Ryuu was relieved to hear that the other wasn't in pain, that his voice only felt weird. "That's good, I mean, I am glad your not in pain."
Ryuunomu didn't like how his partner's voice was also starting to sound scratchy. They didn't both need to have hoarse voices. Sometimes Ryuu wished that he would just feel his own pain, even before now. Why did one person have to bare all the pain? Now Nemo had moved on to a coffee shop he knew of. Ryuunomu didn't mind at all, he loved coffee shops. He didn't like the taste of coffee but he loved the smell. So, even though you couldn't really tell Ryuu was super excited about going. He clicked his tongue before answering, "Alright lead the way." Ryuu nearly jump when Nemo said that he was killing him. He went from worried and stressed to very confused and happy within a matter of seconds. So... He was killing him by acting 'cute'. First off, he knew what acting was, however he had no idea what cute meant. He didn't think he had even heard the word before, excepted in passing conversations. Now, he was happy because Nemo had pulled him closer. However, he did need to ask, "King... What does cute mean?" Ryuunomu was surprised when Nemo stopped walking, after he had felt his head. Because of his fast reflexes and reasoning, Ryuu stopped a millisecond after his partner had. He wondered why he stopped so suddenly. Ryuu felt the King lean closer to him. After he spoke Ryuu realized that Nemo was looking at his eyes. That made his face even hotter, however the temperature under his hand didn't change. Weird he didn't seem to have a fever... When Nemo chuckled then placed his own hand on Ryuunomu's forehead, he felt this heart stop for a second and his face burn under the touch. Was he sick? But he didn't have a fever. The only thing was the heat... Oh and that heart stopping thing. Maybe he should ask Nemo about it. Unknown to Ryuu though, red apples would be envious of the color of his face. "No I don't feel sick... I just thought that I might have a fever, because my face is hot..." He didn't share the heart thing, he wasn't sure why, he just didn't. Ryuunomu's lack of knowledge made him even more embarrassed so he decided to change the subject. He remembered Nemo saying something about not thinking he had eyes. Now, that was something interesting to talk about. "Actually... My eyes work completely. My eyes themselves can see, however the parts of my brain the process what I see don't work or the stuff that sends the signal to the brain doesn't work. Either way, my eyes are fully functioning. Its my brain that's the problem..." Ryuu moved his hair out of the way then turned his head so it seemed like he was looking up at Nemo. Sometimes Ryuunomu wished he could see. Like right now, he wanted to know what his eyes were seeing as he looked a Nemo. What his own eyes looked like, what his face looked like, what colors looked like... All of it... Ryuu loved the rain. When it rained he could see. He could hear where each rain drop hit and an image would form in his head. The Ryuunomu could really see the person, maybe not the color... Still he could see when it rained. Snapping his teeth, Ryuu made his mind shift back to the present. Ryuunomu knew the Coffee shop would lift his spirits. "Let's continue to the shop..." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ryuu was really lucky. If it weren't for the fact he didn't want to scare him off so soon, the act would have went on much longer. Of course with the surprising question, he might have cut it short regardless, the teen looking puzzled before chuckling. He had to be joking, right? But call it a hunch but he had a feeling that wasn't the case. He gave a little hum at the thought, rubbing his chin as he tried to find the best way to explain something like that. You would think it would be easy but he realized explaining simple stuff like that by putting it into words was pretty difficult. "Uhm... Hard to explain really..." he muttered before continuing. "It's something you can act or even look like. Kinda how you are acting. Pretty shy, turning red, clingy. It's cute!" he laughed, diverting his eyes as he realized how stupid he sounded. "Like I said, hard to explain." he sighed before offering another one of his smiles. "But you get the picture, right?" he asked, hopeful that was the case. Hell, he'd be happy if Ryuunomu was just joking and trying to make him look stupid. If not, he supposed he could try and explain it some other time. Maybe with a dictionary. If you could get the rebellious teen to actually sit down and look through one at least.
After his questioning about his well-being and comment on his eyes, he had paid close attention to the warmth as he put his hand on his forehead. He wasn't a doctor but it seemed pretty regular. He put his hand on his own forehead to make sure. "Not a fever." he assured though it seemed Ryuu already knew that. But what he said nearly made Nemo lose it, the boy covering his own mouth with his hand as he tried to hold back the amused giggle. It seemed Ryuu was genuinely concerned about it so he didn't want to upset him by laughing. But how oblivious he was, it was pretty odd. And it only further made him look cute. "You're ridiculous, Ryuu." he finally replied once he had calmed from his fit, about to answer his question when the boy changed the subject by explaining his eyesight.
"Interesting." he simply stated, truly meaning it. Weird how things worked like that. Kind of a shame too. He felt sorry for him. He decided to keep that to himself however, simply tucking it away for fuel to encourage him into making sure Ryuu lived a happier life from this point on. "I like them. Pretty fitting for you." he commented with a smirk as he patted the shorter boy on the head. It was a shame he hid them away. But he supposed it wasn't his place to say something like that. He was still pretty cute regardless. Maybe with him around people would stop calling Nemo cute! That would be a miracle in the boy's eyes. He personally wasn't fond of being called that. He preferred manly!
Once everything seemed okay and questions were answered, Ryuu reminded Nemo of the coffee shop plans. Though Nemo couldn't help but notice a sudden difference in his partner. He couldn't quite pinpoint it but it was enough to catch his attention. He decided not to pry right now though. Perhaps once they were seated at the coffee shop or got to his place. He nodded to himself at these quick plans. "Sure!" he began in his usual upbeat tone before once again leading the duo down the street towards their destination. "Any idea of what you're gonna get?" he asked, reaching into his hoodie's pocket to find some cash hidden among the many other items such as his music player, cell phone, gameboy, and other random stuff he'd have to pull out to actually name. Thank god for oversized hoodies! The huge pockets made for plenty of room for all his needed necessities. "Like I said, you can get whatever you want. I'm sure I can cover it." he assured. Perks of getting a pretty good allowance too. His dad literally paid him to get him out of his hair. A thought that was both enjoyable and disappointing depending on the circumstance but at this point, he was pretty thankful for it.

Ryuu melted at Nemo's chuckling. He should be mad at him for laughing at his question. Was it so hard to believe that he didn't know what cute meant. Maybe he was already suppose to know it. Still Ryuunomu couldn't muster up any anger. His Rainer probably wasn't laughing at his question anyway. It was way more likely that Ryuu's partner took it as a joke. However, the sad thing was it wasn't one. So, Ryuunomu was extremely happy when his partner tried to answer his question. Even if he still didn't really know what it meant... Well he had said it was hard to explain. So, Ryuu didn't really blame his King for not giving a clear definition. So... You can act and look cute, which would mean, "Cute is an adjective... So... You use it to describe how something looks or acts."
Well Nemo's explanation did help Ryuu get a better idea of the word, he figured that he would have to see something that was cute to understand what it meant. Sense, Ryuunomu couldn't see he may never understand the word... Still he was very happy that his trainer tried. "I don't really get the picture... But I do understand it a bit better... Thank you for trying to explain it too me. That means a lot... What his trainer had said before to start all this still bothered him... How was his cuteness killing Nemo...? "I just don't understand how being 'cute' would kill you... Do you dislike it when I am being... Cute? How do I stop being cute, King?
...I don't want to kill you..." Ryuunomu didn't want to continue being cute if it was putting his King in danger. Now, Ryuu was kind of panicking about how being some adjective was killing his trainer. He had already hurt the guy twice, he didn't want to hurt him anymore. After the whole embarrassing hand on forehead event and Ryuu's clever change of subject or at least he thought it was clever, Ryuu listened closely to his trainer's reaction. He was more then a little curious. Ryuunomu had never told anyone about why he can't see... Not that there was anyone to tell, but it was still a big deal to him. The one word Nemo said he had thought many times before... There wasn't any emotional attachment to the word. It was very true indeed. Ryuunomu actually relaxed a big after hearing just that one word... However, it was short lived relaxation. For then Nemo added how he liked them, and even patted his head. If Ryuu thought his face was hot before, it was positively burning now. To top it off his heart had stopped again, only to speed up ten times faster then before. Seriously what was wrong with him! He didn't have a fever was what could it possibly be... It was a kind of nice feeling though. Nemo patting him, it wouldn't seem like it would be, but it was once Ryuu's body had relaxed to the touch. Ryuunomu opened his mouth to thank him, for it was a complement, even Ryuu knew what that was. However, there was a lump in this throat too, thus no sound came out. Improvising, Ryuunomu just snapped his mouth shut and nodded. What was wrong with him!? He only seemed to be getting worse as time went on! New symptoms kept showing up, but Ryuu didn't know what they meant! Snapping his teeth together, Ryuunomu got himself out of his daze. The coffee shop plans continued on. All bad feelings and confusions put a side for now. Ryuu could relax at the coffee shop. He was glade when Nemo agreed and started leading them down the street again. Their hands were still intertwined together. When Nemo asked his question Ryuu hesitated. He couldn't really read what they had on the menu even if the had one for the bind. Ryuunomu had never been taught how to read those bumps. Why would an experiment need to read? Oh, you want to know about the baking. Well, Ryuu had to memorize the recipes after hearing them. If he didn't he get them on the first shot it turned into trial and error. Anyway, back to the question... Ryuunomu was going to have to trust Nemo for this one. "I would like something sweet with lots of honey, if that's not to much trouble..." Ryuunomu listened to Nemo rummage through something. He guessed it was a pocket of some kind. Ryuu didn't hear a zipper or anything. When Ryuu was told he could get anything he wanted the corners of his lips turned up just a bit. His voice also got the tinniest bit softer, it might have even sounded a bit less monotoned. "You are too kind. Anything like I just said will do... It doesn't need to be expensive... Just get me something like that. Thank you, again." Ryuu squeezed Nemo's hand a little. Not to make it uncomfortable, but just the opposite. He would somehow pay Nemo back for his kindness. Somehow... Ryuunomu could smell the coffee now. He guessed that they were close, but he just continued to follow Nemo. Maybe it was a different coffee shop then what Nemo had in mind. Either way, Ryuu was already relaxing, because of the smell. "I love the smell of coffee... He whispered. Unaware that he even said it. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
