queen of coney island, raising hell all over town. sorry about it [/classy][classy=text]He wasn't here for the money, nor for the thrill of the fight. Theo was here to get known. For a long time fighting had always been a taboo thing for the Gijinka. He thought he was a blank, someone without a trainer.
No matter how hard he tried, Theo could never find his partner. The dumb tattoo never appeared, and he was cast out by society. Well, being a stripper probably had something to do with the casting out bit.
But this place, this dark and dingy place, gave Theo the chance to prove himself in combat. No Gijinka powers, he could just use his own skills. He could put those glorious muscles to good work for once. They would make him famous in this illegal fighting ring.
The lights were dim, but that didn't stop the crowd from being loud as shit. The spectators formed a ring around the best lit portion of the room. They'd shout out their bets, waving fists full of cash in the air. It was strange, Theo was used to having all these men throw fists full of money at him.
He stayed in the back, only throwing in a little bit of money once in awhile. The stripper wasn't here for the betting.
It was a while before the leader called out his name. "Theo, yer up." His voice was rough, harsh.
Smiling Theo pushed his way through the crowd into the limelight. He looked around, all eyes were on him. A faint grin spread across his face. Now this is my kinda crowd. The grin only grew larger as Theo laid eyes on his opponent.
The man was simply bigger then Theo, and by no means could the stripper be considered a small and dainty man Cuts and bruises adorned the other's body, he had been through a lot today and each and every time the fighter had emerged victorious.
Theo crackled his knuckles. This is good. Reached down he took off his tank top, and flung it to the ground. When I beat him up they'll all be talking about me. With his bare chest revealed he felt more comfortable, clothes were so comfortable.
But everyone could see it, something that Theo had never noticed before. On his lower back, where his dark blue jeans sagged low, was one word stamped on his back.
"Angels" [/classy]

He had been called in as a backup, as was the usual for the night. His bear still swung in his hand as he simply watched the night slowly progress, the screaming and shouting barely phasing him at this point. Everyone knew not to even touch, ridicule; there had been quite a mess last time one of the men had snatched Cinnamon. Enough of a mess to impress the leader of the ring. He considered his fights, when they came, as nothing more than training for when he finally met his partner, and sometimes the little bit of extra money was somewhat nice.
With a thud, the challenger hit the ground, struggling to his feet and pushing through the crowd; another loser, which wasn't a surprise. His interest peaked as a name he hadn't heard before was called, Theo, he shoved through the crowd, lingering at the edge of the human ring. Sybil kept his eyes on him, the flickering light casting shadows across his face. He seemed like one of the typical fighters, though unlike most, his face wasn't mottled or scarred beyond recognition. Sybil was impressed, the man seemed excited, unlike most others who, on this night, had regarded their opponent with fear. As the tanktop came off, Sybil's eyes wandered down his back; and there it was.
Without a thought, his free hand drifted to his back, lingering on the name gracing his skin. Above the man's sagged jeans, it seemed to scream to Sybil. Not caring, he shoved a larger man out of his way, stepping into the ring, the air around now seeming clear; against the shouts of protest of his interruption, his arm reached out and grabbed Theo's shoulder, and with a large smile, his voice ecstatic, "I finally found you, my angel. The one who shares my name."

queen of coney island, raising hell all over town. sorry about it [/classy][classy=text]Back hunched, fists curled, Theo was ready for a fight. His mind was focused, he began to hop from foot to foot. It may have been amatureish, but Theo had never done this shit before. All he could do was get in the zone. Focus, concentrate.
Then someone grabbed his shoulder. Spooked he jumped. The fighter laughed at him. A scowl formed on Theo's face as he looked over his shoulder.
"WHAT." He was upset angry. Then Sybil's words hit him. "The..." He was confused. Partly by the fact that this silver haired punk with a bear had grabbed him, and partly because of his words.
"Fuck..." He had never seen the mark on his back. No one mentioned it either. Most people were normally to preoccupied with his other... assets to remark on it. "Are you..." Theo thought he was alone, he thought he was a blank. "Talking about?"
He was wrong. [/classy]

Sybil couldn't help but flinch a bit as the man's voice rang over his shoulder; he'd managed to spook the man in front of the crowd, and their displeasure of the interruption was growing.
The confusion he was so shortly greeted with surprised him, hand still lingering on his shoulder. He stayed silent as the words slowly dripped from his partner; did he truly not know? Without a word, Sybil's hand slid down Theo's back, fingers gently resting on the name that had marked his lower back.
"Our name. We both have it, right here on our backs." Sybil smiled up at Theo again, his fingers still lingering on the soft skin of his lower back. "You're the one I've been searching for." Though.. Why was he surprised, had he not been looking for him as well? "WHAT'S THE FUCKING HOLD UP?" An angry voice rang out, it was the leader now; wanting the fight to get underway. Sybil could care less, this was important; the fight could wait in the wake of this.
"You didn't know you had a name, did you?"
